embodiment is a performative closed-circuit sculpture by visual artist Yvon Chabrowski in cooperation with creative developer Fabian Töpfer.
In embodiment, camera- and AI-based technologies transform the movements of beholders in public space in real time into the projection of a fluid digital body projection in the exhibition space. Drawing on feminist theories of the body, the work understands the body as an unfixed, abstract form and asks how embodiment takes place in the context of surveillance technologies, optimization, and exploitation. In contrast to AI systems that monitor and categorize movement in public space, embodiment is complete transparent: no data is stored, recorded, or tracked.
The performative closed-circuit sculpture embodiment, the exhibition, the performance, and conversations will be documented at this link throughout November 2026.
