Barbara Wandelt became known in the 1960s as a model and cover girl for the fashion magazine Sibylle. She later skillfully applied her talent and years of experience in front of the camera as a photographer. In the 1980s, commissioned by the university, she photographed numerous classroom scenes in Schöneweide. The result is a collection of impressive images documenting every phase and facet of acting training: from entrance exams to classes in movement, fencing, and speech training, through to studio productions.
