Opening hours: Daily except Tuesdays, 10 am – 6 pm
Admission: 10 € / 6 €

The Liebermann-Villa am Wannsee is the former summer house of the painter Max Liebermann (1847-1935) and his family. The villa and the historical garden are today open to the public. The house contains an art museum dedicated to Liebermann’s life and work. The exhibitions are, however, not limited to the photographers within these collections but rather the overarching disciplines and surrounding research questions as they relate to contemporary photography. Questions such as: What is experimental photography now? What is the role of the female body in photography now? What constitutes a historical image in photography now?
