“Neun” brings together nine photographers who approach documentary photography as personal inquiry. Their work spans underground burlesque, sacrifice zones in Lapland, lost architectural heritage, and familial memory, reflecting diverse perspectives and intimate stories. Emerging from a year-long seminar at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie led by Mustafah Abdulaziz, these artists explore the overcoming of gender-based violence, human-animal relationships, and the healing power of human connection.
