This publication is featured on PiE in conjunction with the exhibition Maximilian Brunn “The Shimmer of Time” at Atelier Kirchner Berlin.

Maximilian Brunn photographs places of worship around the world juxtaposing them according to the world religions in groups of five. In the exhibition “The Shimmer of Time” at Atelier Kirchner he shows Platinum Prints on handmade Japanese paper. This accompanying publication contains all 21 prints presented in the exhibition and a foreword by André Kirchner as well as detailed information on Brunn’s printing process.

Maximilian Brunn is a Berlin based artist working on conceptually driven photo series with an analogue 8×10-inch camera. Timelessness is the core theme of his artistic practice.
