Confronting today’s challenges, responding, asking questions, and remaining mindful of one’s own responsibility in the process—this was the starting point for selecting the photographers and works for this exhibition. The selected works consider individual biographies, illuminate the still-visible results of past conflicts, and concretely reflect the times—a medium without which photography is inconceivable, a medium that seems to capture them. But what now?
The exhibition “Little Man, What Now?” („Kleiner Mann, was nun?“) is curated by Uwe Warnke and features photographs by Sven Johne and Michael Wesely, as well as small sculptures by Berlin-based artist Alexandre Sladkevich.
