In a world where political crises are multiplying, climate urgency is growing, and social inequality and the suffering of minorities are becoming an everyday reality, the prospect of a better life encounters limits and contradictions inherent in human history. Through modernization, humanity destroys much, and through innovation, it strives to repair the damage. This is the paradox that the artists invited to Fotohaus Berlin 2025 have addressed.
The exhibition »Controversy & Paradoxes 2 or How to Re-Enchant the World« will be on view at the Institut Français Berlin and the Berlin gallery world in a room from Nov 1/6, 2025 – Feb 14, 2026.
