The Instituts français comprise over 200 institutions worldwide, dedicated to promoting the French language and culture and fostering intercultural exchange on an international level.
The first Institut français in Germany was founded in Freiburg in 1949. Over the years, numerous other Instituts français and independent Franco-German cultural centers have been established. Today, the Institut français d’Allemagne, together with its partner institutions, offers the broadest network of French cultural institutes worldwide.
Whether as a sponsor, through a partnership, or by participating in jointly organized projects, there are many ways to get involved.
