The Finnland-Institut provides consultation services and networking opportunities for Finnish artists and other cultural professionals. Together with our partners, we offer a wide-ranging schedule of events on Finnish culture and society. We focus on creating a platform that fosters long-term collaboration and dialogue between professionals from Finland and German-speaking parts of Europe. We work on projects with artists and academics, with a particular emphasis on developing new content, disciplines and formats together with partners from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Finland. The Institut was founded in 1994 and is maintained by the Helsinki-based Foundation for the Finnland-Institut.
