Galerie Mönch Berlin

In March 1977, Galerie Mönch Berlin opened in Charlottenburg, not far from Kurfürstendamm, and after relocating to a site near the palace, has been located in Neu-Westend since 1998. In more than 200 exhibitions since its founding, we have presented contemporary artists from Germany, Ireland, Poland, Norway, China, Brazil, South Africa, and Switzerland. The program was initially dedicated to gestural painting and has expanded over almost four decades to include sculpture, photography, and video art. In addition to thematic exhibitions such as "Material Slate," "Art Flags," or "Ceci n’est pas un livre," drawing has emerged as another key focus, ranging from works on and made of paper to sculptural and video drawings.
