The Schöneberg Museum is a vibrant regional museum for all generations, featuring changing exhibitions on urban and cultural history and a diverse program. The museum conducts research and publishes its findings; it organizes readings, concerts, and conferences, and invites the public to join guided city walks and conversations with contemporary witnesses. It offers a diverse range of media for conveying history, as well as engaging museum education programs. The museum is housed in a late 19th-century villa located in the heart of Schöneberg. Its research findings are also brought back into the local neighborhood, presenting history directly within the community—in public squares, cemeteries, the Town Hall, schools, and cafés. The Schöneberg Museum is a cultural institution of the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district. Together with the Youth Museum and the Tempelhof Museum, it forms part of the municipal museum network of Tempelhof-Schöneberg.
