This publication is featured on PiE in conjunction with the exhibition “Today yet, tomorrow surely. Filmic Perspectives on Berlin Around 1990” at Museum Nikolaikirche Berlin.
35 years after the end of the division of Germany, the Museum Nikolaikirche has dedicated a film exhibition to the upheavals in Berlin around 1990. Short documentary and artistic film, as well as excerpts from film and television, provide rare insight into both the continuities and changes playing out at the time. The accompanying book “TODAY YET, TOMORROW SURELY Filmic Perspectives on Berlin Around 1990“ combines descriptions of the films with historical archival material, complemented by artistic works from the collection of the Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin.
