For the fourth exhibition as guests in Kunstquartier Bethanien’s project space in Kreuzberg, the photo collective tunnel19 combines exhibition with book launch.

In their works, the ten artists explore in various ways, the challenge of presenting one and the same project on the wall or in the space, as well as in book format. At times, the book takes center stage as a work of art, with images or individual pages displayed on the wall. Other times, the exhibited images are the central work, while the book serves more as its documentation. The bound objects come in various formats, ranging from unique artists’ books to zines, leporellos and loose-leaf collections, right through to classic books in small print runs. Thus, each artist explores their own photographic theme through a play on wall and paper.

All printed and bound works are published under the umbrella of our publishing house, EDITION tunnel19.
